Dimple Aesthetics

While creating cheek dimples, a small incision will be made on the inside of your cheek. Since the procedure is done from the inside of the cheek, there are no visible scars. A small piece of fat and muscle tissue will be removed from the incision just below the area where the dimple will be created. The size and depth of the dimple will be determined by the diameter of the incision and the amount of tissue removed. After the desired appearance is achieved, the dimple will be fixed by suturing the inner part of the cheek under the skin surface. The procedure will be performed under local anesthesia while the patient is awake. Recovery times and procedure are similar when creating chin dimples and waist dimples (venus dimples). However, different techniques will be  used instead of sewing.

How is Dimpl? Healing process after eplasty (dimple aesthetics)

The dimple aesthetic operation is a relatively easy surgical procedure. It takes about half an hour. The patient can go home when the procedure is completed. He can return to his normal life the next day. It is recommended that our patients be fed with soft or liquid foods for the first few days after the operation. A small swelling may be experienced in the treated area after the operation. This is normal, the swelling will decrease and disappear over time. Initially your new dimples will be visible without smiling, but within a few days to a few weeks the dimples will settle down and only appear when you smile. Since there is no visible scar or incision from the outside, it will look completely natural, as if it were present from birth. The results of dimple aesthetics are permanent. Patient satisfaction is quite high.
