What is liposuction?

It is an operation that aims to reduce the excess fat in the region, which is performed for complaints that does not decrease with weight loss and exercise. Commercially known as Lipoplasty, Liposculpture or Liposhaping, all of the applications are liposuction surgery. It is one of the aesthetic operations, also known as the fat removal method. In the liposuction method, vacuuming method is applied by creating 1-2 mm incisions on the fat tissues and the process is performed by removing the fats.

After the liposuction application, specially produced corsets are worn. It is recommended to use corsets between 4 and 8 weeks after the application. The duration of use varies for each person. When it is applied superficially, problems such as fluctuations in the skin, collapses, wounds on the skin, and hard areas begin to appear. For this reason, in a well-made classical liposuction, a thickness of at least one cm is left from the skin and liposuction is applied to the area under it so that there is no collapse.

The result is a smooth appearance, but the patient is still not free from the thick appearance. Vaser liposuction can also be performed on superficial adipose tissue. Thanks to this process, the body can be shaped with sharper lines. Waist groove, muscle highlights, six packs appearance on the abdomen, and a muscular appearance on the arms can be given. In superficial liposuction, the skin contracts due to heating under the skin, the skin recovers and stretches.

Vaser liposuction is a very reliable application among the techniques used in fat removal, as it does not damage the vessels and nerves.

When can I return to my normal life after Vaser Liposuction?

Rest and nutrition after the operation is very important.
