HAIR TRANSPLANTATION WITH DHI TECHNIQUE
Unlike FUE, DHI technique can be explained as a method performed in the form of transplanting hair follicles taken from the donor area to the area to be transplanted with an implanter without opening a channel. The Implanter/Choi needle, which has a very thin, cylindrical and sharp structure, is in the form of a channel and the hair is inserted into the needle by driving along this channel.
STAGES OF DHI TECHNIQUE
1. In hair transplantation with Choi pen, hair follicles are carefully placed one by one into the pen, and after this process, the assistants give the hair follicles to the specialist doctor for transplantation.
2. The doctor also transplants the hair follicles at an angle of 40-45 degrees, another point is that it is done in accordance with the direction of the previous hair of the person.
3. After determining the angle and direction of the hair follicles placed in the Choi needle, sowing is done with the pushing feature of the needle; In the operation, between 2 and 6 Choi pens and 15-16 Choi nibs are used, the nib can be of different sizes, this is determined by the person's hair root and thickness structure.
Choi hair transplantation method has different advantages and disadvantages than FUE method.
